Our Story
Who We Are
The Nimrod Club was founded by someone who spends their weekends in the field, and got tired of choosing between kit that looked good and kit that actually worked.
Built in Britain
Every piece in The Nimrod Club collection is designed and manufactured in Britain. That's not a marketing line, it's a commitment. British manufacturing means real accountability: we know exactly who makes our products, where, and how. It means shorter supply chains, tighter quality control, and work that supports skilled British craftspeople and the communities around them.
We believe that if something is worth making, it's worth making properly. And properly, for us, means here. British hands, British materials, British standards.
Why It Matters
The British countryside has its own language: the weight of a well-worn wax jacket, the feel of a leather lead that's been broken-in over a hundred morning walks. You can't replicate that with offshore production and a heritage logo slapped on top. Authenticity has to run all the way through.
That's why we work exclusively with British manufacturers who share our obsession with detail, durability and doing things the right way.
Our Promise
Every piece is designed for the British countryside: built tough, finished beautifully, made to earn its place in the boot of the car and made to last long enough to be handed down.
Message from our Founder
I didn't start The Nimrod Club in a boardroom. I started it on a hillside, with Colonel Bogey (my Korthals Griffon), doing the thing we both love most.
I still have a day job. Most days I'm at a desk, watching the clock, counting down to the weekend. Every opportunity I throw the kit in the car, head for the moor and feel like myself again. Colonel Bogey, my shadow, my excuse to be outside, makes every morning of the season worth getting up for.
But I kept running into the same problem out in the field. The kit either looked the part and fell apart, or it was built tough and looked like an afterthought. Nothing felt like it truly belonged out there. Nothing felt like us.
So I built it.
The Nimrod Club is everything I wanted to exist: proper British-made kit, designed by someone who actually uses it, for people who live for the season. It's what gets me out with Colonel Bogey more than I ever managed before. And one day, sooner than later, it'll be the reason I leave the desk behind for good.
If you're reading this, you probably feel the same way about your dog and the countryside as I do. This brand is for you.

Welcome to the club.
